CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)

Cybersecurity is no longer about just keeping the doors locked. It’s about spotting intruders before they even enter. The CompTIA CySA+ bridges the gap between security fundamentals and advanced, real-world analysis skills. This course trains you to detect threats, manage vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and communicate findings with confidence. At Techboxx, we don’t just prepare you for an exam, we prepare you for the SOC (Security Operations Center) floor. With hands-on labs, real-time simulations, and guided mentorship, you’ll leave this course with the skills to think like an analyst, act like a defender, and stand out as a professional in today’s competitive cybersecurity market.

What you learn

Overview of topics covered in this course

This module teaches you how security teams keep IT systems safe day to day. You’ll learn the basics of how operating systems, networks, and user accounts work, and how logs from different sources are collected to spot suspicious activity. You’ll practice analyzing signs of malicious behavior like unusual network traffic, unauthorized software, or phishing attempts. Tools like Wireshark, SIEMs, and VirusTotal will help you detect and investigate threats. You’ll also get introduced to scripting with Python and PowerShell for automation. Finally, you’ll understand how security processes can be streamlined and improved to make operations more effective.

Prepares you for

Certifications & career paths

Upon passing the CySA+ exam, the candidate is awarded the CompTIA CySA+ certification by CompTIA.
Security+ builds foundational knowledge, while CySA+ trains you in analysis, threat hunting, and responding to real incidents.
This certification is ideal for aspiring SOC Analysts, Threat Hunters, and IT professionals who want to transition into cybersecurity.
If you’ve completed Security+, CCNA, or have hands-on IT support experience, you’ll have a smoother transition into CySA+.
It’s a mix of instructor-led sessions, lab demonstrations, hands-on labs with real tools, scenario-based SOC exercises, assignments, and mock tests. We don’t just teach theory, we train you the way security operations work in real companies.
CEH is more offensive (how hackers attack). CySA+ is defensive (how organizations detect/respond). Splunk certs are tool-specific; CySA+ is vendor-neutral, giving you a broader foundation.
Unlike many providers who only “teach to the exam,” Techboxx gives you real SOC-like practice. You’ll get exposure to SIEM dashboards, incident response playbooks, and real-world attack simulations; not just PowerPoint slides.
Organizations are drowning in alerts, logs, and incidents. They need professionals who can analyze signals, detect threats, and respond fast. CySA+ aligns directly with these industry needs, making you job-ready for one of the most in-demand cybersecurity roles.
Yes, mentorship is a core part of the experience. You’ll get career and technical guidance at every step.
Students who fall behind receive additional support including remedial sessions, extended lab access, personalized tutoring, and modified timelines. We ensure every student can successfully complete the program and be industry-ready.
At Techboxx, we balance theory + labs + practice tests. You’ll work on real-world tools (like SIEMs and vulnerability scanners), get access to a virtual lab, and practice exam-style simulations so you’re fully ready.
We offer flexible scheduling options including early morning and late evening sessions for international students. We also provide recorded sessions, extended lab access, and one-on-one mentoring sessions scheduled according to student time zones.
Yes! Upon completing the full program, you will receive an official Techboxx Certificate of Completion for the CompTIA CySA+ program
We offer 100% refund if cancelled 7+ days before start, 50% refund within the first week, and no refund after one week. Medical or emergency situations are considered case-by-case, with credit toward future courses available.
Yes, we offer free one-on-one consultation sessions for prospective students. This personalized 1-hour session allows you to have a direct conversation with our mentors. You can ask questions about your career goals, assess your current skill level, discuss the training approach, and get guidance on your career journey. These sessions can be conducted online via Google Meet, Zoom, or other video conferencing platforms for your convenience, or you can visit our office for an in-person consultation. This interaction helps you make an informed decision about enrolling in our program.
