SOC Analyst/Engineer L1 (Zero to Pro in 6months)
Zero to SOC Analyst in 6 Months is Techboxx's flagship cybersecurity career program that takes you from absolute beginner to job-ready SOC (Security Operations Center) Analyst - no IT background required. The journey starts from scratch with computer and networking fundamentals (OSI/TCP-IP, IP addressing and subnetting, switching, routing and network services), moves into hands-on perimeter security with 40 hours of Cisco ASA Firewall & VPN training, and culminates in 120 hours of intensive SOC training covering SIEM (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Wazuh), EDR with CrowdStrike, Windows/Linux log analysis, network traffic analysis with Wireshark, email security and phishing analysis, threat intelligence (VirusTotal, URLScan.io), malware fundamentals (Any.Run) and incident detection, triage & ticketing. The program ends with a capstone simulated SOC shift where you triage a live alert queue end-to-end. You graduate with a portfolio of lab investigations, the Techboxx SOC Analyst L1 certificate, and the practical skills to step directly into a SOC Analyst Level 1 role.
